Birthday Celebrations

Today is my little one's fourth birthday.  Happy Birthday Zoe.  We love you.

Where did the tradition of marking the day and celebrating originate from.  An internet search, albeit limited, tracks it to the derivation of calendars.  We had a means to mark and record dates.  Good cheer was also a way that some believed would ward of evil spirits.

Podiatrist Ira Bernstein Malpractice Verdict

Congratulations to my friend and colleague, Barry Kantrowitz, Esq., on his malpractice verdict.  A Rockland County jury determined fault and awarded damages on behalf of a 12 year old girl who has to endure a lifetime of pain and discomfort.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Today's winter storm is far worse than last week's projected blizzard.  Snow, freezing rain, wind and ice.  Not a good combination.  Keep hydrated, with cold weather we may not realize that our fluids are depleted.  Remember to check on friends, family and those who may need a little extra TLC.  On a positive note, it sure is beautiful outside.  Stay safe and be careful.
