1/3 of Nursing Home Residents Experience Neglect Within 35 Days
There was a study conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services that looked into neglect and abuse in nursing home facilities. The study showed that 1/3 of all residents in nursing homes suffer from neglect or abuse within the first 35 days of being admitted.
